Welcome to CREAlyx, the first open-access, free of charge, online testing platform dedicated to the assessment of creativity!

Create small or large-scale studies covering a broad range of creativity measures including classic verbal and figural divergent thinking tasks, dynamic creative ideation tasks, associative thinking, categorization and inclusiveness, production-based tasks, self-report measures and more!

CREAlyx also incorporates a Consensual Assessment Technique interface (CAT-i) allowing raters to score productions uploaded to the system to facilitate the implementation of the CAT.

Each study created through CREAlyx has a study-specific registration portal that allow participant to self-register into that particular study with a dedicated URL link. Alternatively, participants accounts may be created in advance through your research-manager platform. While the user platform is compatible with any major web-browser and does not require an app to be installed locally, telemetric data are produced at an incredible millisecond-level accuracy. According to the study needs, specific tasks may be restricted to access from devices of a certain type only (e.g., touch-screen devices).

CREAlyx development was partly supported by funds from the Imagination Institute (on behalf of the John Templeton Foundation), the American Psychological Foundation, and Pace University.

Research access is currently granted on demand.
